Last updated: 03/08/2023NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in terms of Section 33 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003 that Prince Albert Local Municipality intends entering into contract relating to the provision of professional valuation services for the compilation of the general valuation roll and supplementary valuation rolls for a period from 01 July 2024 until 30 June 2029. The contract will impose financial obligations on the Municipality for a period longer than three (3) years covered in the annual budget for the financial year 2023/2024.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN in accordance with Section 21A and Section 21 of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act (No. 32 of 2000) that-
(a) The local community and other interested persons are invited to submit comments or representations to the Municipality in respect of the proposed draft contract.
(b) Such comments or representations must be received by no later than 10h00 on Wednesday, 11 October 2023 via electronic mail on the email address provided below or delivered to the mailing address provided hereunder. (
c) Copies of the draft contract and information statement summarizing the Municipality’s obligations in terms of the draft agreement is available for inspection at the locations listed hereunder as well as at the libraries in the municipal jurisdiction and will also be accessible on the official website of the municipality (www.pamun.gov.za).

Notice is hereby given that the Adjustments Budget for 2023/2024 was approved by Council during a Special Council Meeting on 06 December 2023, in terms of Section (28)(2)(b) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003) and Section 23(2) of the Municipal Budget and Reporting Regulations. The budget is hereby made public in terms of Regulation 26 of the Municipal Budget and Reporting Regulations.
In terms of Section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act no. 32 of 2000), the Prince Albert Municipality hereby notifies the local community that the Council Resolution, and all other relevant budget documentation may be inspected during office hours at the municipal offices and libraries. The approved document is also available on the municipality’s website (www.pamun.gov.za). The municipal offices and libraries where the documents will be placed are as follow:
